(The Heart Passion behind my new book: A Man Worth Waiting For)

How does a brilliant woman say, "I do" to a Bozo man? How does a woman with two doctorates pick TWO Bozo husbands? I am knee deep in a pool of tears from women who have passed school but have flunked life in relation to men. After three decades of listening to thousands of women sharing their heart-breaking experiences with Bozo guys, I decided to write about the characteristics of the man who is the opposite of the typical Bozo guy.

Although my original example of the "ideal man" is from ancient times, I do not believe that such a man is extinct in the 21st century. On another "dateless" Friday night in 1972, I met this man in my college dorm room in the greatest book ever printed on the Guttenberg Press. I discovered the ideal man in the eighth book of the Old Testament. The book is Ruth and the ideal man is one of the main characters in this love story. His name is BOAZ. He is the opposite of the BOZO, guy who breaks a woman's heart and leaves her wondering if there is any hope for an alternative to this type of man in the universe. In the ninth chapter of my book Lady in Waiting, I gave the reader a glimpse of a man worth waiting for. This book will be the full color portrait of him.

I have met thousands of single women who are very intentional about becoming the best they can be—but they seem to be unsuccessful in finding a man who is striving to be a Boaz rather than a Bozo. For more than three decades, I have been repeating one phrase so incessantly that it is a wonder that people have not purchased electrical tape and come after my mouth with it. I have not only taught it as a constant theme, but also I have signed countless copies of Lady in Waiting with this remark: "Wait for God's Best and AVOID A BOZO!"
