Jerrold Ladd is a freelance writer who has written for the Dallas Examiner, D'Magazine, Texas Monthly, Sun Magazine of North Carolina, Dallas Observer, and Dallas Morning News. He has earned several writing awards, including the Southern Magazine Editors Association (Sunmag) National Essay of the Year Award, and the Robert F. Kennedy Journalism Award. He is currently attending college part-time.
