Author Bio

Kim Sunée was born in South Korea, adopted, and raised in New Orleans. She lived in Europe for more than ten years.  She is the author of TRAIL OF CRUMBS: Hunger, Love, and the Search for Home (Grand Central).  Her book, a memoir with recipes, follows the author from South Korea to Paris and Provence and many places in between. 

Trail of Crumbs was selected for the Spring 2008 BARNES AND NOBLE Discover Great New Writers Program and was also a January 2008 Booksense Pick.  She has been featured in the New York Times, Ladies’ Homes Journal, People, ELLE, and Glamour.  Sunée has traveled and tasted her way around the world, including Italy, Sweden, Hong Kong, South Korea, North Africa, and French Guiana.  She is the founding food editor of Cottage Living and worked previously as a food editor for Southern Living.  Visit her Web site at www.kimsunee.com
