Scandal and intrigue surround the Thernbaakagen Science Museum following a dramatic break-in. At the center of the drama is the museum's library, which houses a reference collection of historical papers. Recently, one particular set of papers has been brought to the public eye. Sophie, the long-time librarian at the museum, recalls, "Since their arrival, these papers went unrequested. Then, within a week, we had several requests followed by, oh dear,..." Sophie trailed off in tears before we could learn more.

It seems that these papers may be at the center of a larger mystery. Museum guards describe seeing groups of businessmen with briefcases circling the museum for several days before the break-in. When they finally chose to enter, the results weren't peaceful. Fifteen museum workers are in the hospital under observation. Staffers remaining at the museum are edgy and nervous. When a television reporter checked his watch for the time, Sophie jumped, screamed and hid in the bathroom.

While the papers are now under lock and key, a few particulars have leaked out. Scientific discoveries about translucidus somniferum seem to be involved in the papers, as well as a series of maps. The Chronicle will remain on top of this story.
